Our Co-Founders and Directors

Kyle Bilodeau, MD is currently a General Surgery Resident at the University of Washington. Kyle’s past international experiences, along with his career as a paramedic, sparked his passion for the world of international development. His determination to create this organization has truly shown his passion for helping others, along with his drive to create an organization that puts the individual first. 

 

Paige Ryan is currently working as an EMT and received a BS in Biology from Sacred Heart University in 2015. She was first captivated by the world of public health during a trip to Tanzania, when she realized the impact that could be made through the creation of sustainable projects. Her desire to create lasting impacts along with her creative talents has helped to shape FACES Inc. into what it is today. Paige hopes to continue her education and bring FACES to its full potential, with a vision for a global enterprise.  

 


Our Board Members

Cecilia Wanjiru is a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, completing her BSN at Southern Connecticut State University. She also completed her BSC at Egerton University Nakuru, Kenya in 2008. In 2009, Cecilia and her husband Stanley moved from Kenya to the United States to further their opportunity for education. Cecilia enjoyed serving her ministry in Githurai, Nairobi as a Sunday school teacher for 15 years. She enjoys working with children and her dream is to open children’s homes in Kenya, to give education and quality life to the less fortunate. Cecilia’s dreams and future goals of creating opportunities for those less fortunate in her home community has motivated her to become a part of the FACES team. 

 

Stanley Nganga is a licensed paramedic and works as a certified nurse aide in Branford, CT. Stanley grew up in Thika, Kenya and moved to the United States in 2009 with his wife Cecilia. In 2015, Stanley raised funds to dig an electrically pumped water well for his home community at Naaro, Thika Kenya. This provided easily accessible, clean water to his community. Stanley also served his ministry in Githurai, Nairobi as a Sunday school teacher for 7 years.  His desire to initiate projects in Kenya that will improve quality of life for children and orphans is what drew him to join the FACES team. Outside of work, Stanley enjoys dancing and spending time with his beautiful family.

 

 

John Thomas is a freelance writer, guitar player and the Carmen A. Tortora Professor at Quinnipiac University School of Law. He holds a BA and JD from the University of Arizona and an LLM along with an MPH from Yale University. John has been working hard at filing all legal documents for the FACES team. John’s passion for establishing a number of non-profits has brought the FACES team a plethora of knowledge from his most successful and notable organizations, The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation and the National Diaper Bank Network.
